Honourable Ursula Owusu-Ekuful is the Minister of Communications for the Republic of Ghana and a Member of Parliament. As the Minister of Communications, she has oversight for the government’s infrastructure programme for the ICT Sector, the development of a robust framework to support the digitisation of the economy and the scaling up of e-government services with a national broadband and total connectivity for the unserved and underserved at the heart of the agenda. She is passionate about supporting the local tech start up ecosystem, nurturing the development of indigenous technology and encouraging women and children to engage in ICT. Honourable Ursula Owusu-Ekuful holds a certificate in Government Integrity from the International Law Institute, Washington DC, a Project Management and Planning Certificate from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and a Masters in Conflict Peace and Security from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre. She is a lawyer, women's rights activist and a product of the University Of Ghana And The Ghana School Of Law. She was called to the Ghana Bar in October 1990. She worked for 10 years as an Associate at Akufo-Addo, Prempeh & Co., Legal Practitioners and Notaries Public. From Sept 2005 to May 2008, she was the acting Managing Director, Western Telesystems (Westel), and from April 2008 to January 2009, she was the Corporate and External Affairs Director, ZAIN Ghana. In the run-up to the December 7, 2016 elections, she served as the Chairperson for the Social Development Sector Committee – a committee responsible for the development of policy interventions for women, children, persons with disability, the aged and all social intervention policies and programs for the National Patriotic Party manifesto 2016. She currently serves as a member of the Health and Appointment Committees in Parliament.
Dr Vincent Olatunji has a doctorate degree in Geography and Planning from the University of Lagos and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies. He is a Certified Public Private Partnership Specialist (IP3 Specialist) and a PECB Certified Data Protection Officer. He has worked in the public sector for almost 30 years thereby acquiring practical proficiency and thorough understanding of government operations in Nigeria and other countries. He brings on board significant experience in team building, research activities, policy development and strategic planning on various development initiatives across the three tiers of government in Nigeria. He equally offers significant capability in the delivery of high value outcomes as a skilled negotiator, social networker and public speaker whose personal focus is on working with teams and individuals to maximize economic potentials. He joined NITDA in 2002 and has worked in various departments thereby rising to the position of a Director in 2014 and Acting DG in 2016. Currently as the Director of eGovernment Development and Regulations, he has effectively He has served in many positions at various times which include the following amongst others: Co-ordinated the development of actionable programmes for NITDA’s current strategic Pillars leading to repositioning the agency towards regulating the IT sector in Nigeria; Coordinated the development of strategies and plans for the implementation and co-ordination of Nigeria’s eGovernment and National ICT Transformation Agenda; Successfully mainstreamed the development and launch of various Policies, Guidelines and Frameworks such as the Nigeria Inter-Operability Framework, Nigeria Enterprise Architecture, Cloud First Policy, Government Digital Service Policy, Nigeria Data Protection Regulation and Smart Initiatives Framework to enhance Nigeria’s digital transformation; Currently serves as the coordinating chairman of the activities of the National Interoperability and Enterprise Architecture Committee, Digital Transformation Technical Working Group, and Nigeria Data Protection Implementation Committee amongst others. He has attended many Capacity Building programmes in various areas such as Public Sector Management, Project Planning and Management, Digital Transformation and Data Protection amongst others. He is a member of many committee of experts and also chaired some of them. He has represented NITDA and Nigeria at several local and international engagements. He was listed among the 100 Leading Telecom and ICT Personalities in Nigeria by the Association of Telecommunication Companies of Nigeria in April, 2018. He has also won several awards from public and private sector organizations including his Alma Maters; University of Lagos, UNILAG Alumni Association, Award of Outstanding Commitment to University of Lagos Alumni Association, July 2017 and Ekiti State University Alumni Association, Award of Eminent Personality, Ekiti State University, 22nd June 2018. Ekiti State University also awarded him with a Doctor of Public Administration (HC) on 23rd June 2018.

Mr Abdullahi is a Massachusetts Institute of Technology – MIT Sloan – trained strategist with 15 years experience in IT operations, business transformation and solution architecture, across both private and public sectors. He attended Leadership and Management courses at Harvard University in the USA, University of Cambridge in the UK and IMD Business School in Switzerland. Mr Abdullahi has worked for nine years (2004 – 2013) at Galaxy Backbone and held several positions such as Network Engineer, IP Network Field Engineer, Senior Network & Lead, IP Operations Team, and Senior Solution Architect & Lead, Technical Solution Design. In 2014, Mr Abdullahi joined Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as a Technology Architect, where he dedicated his time to developing Technology Architecture Repository that gives 360 view of the Bank’s IT Infrastructure and facilitated ease of decision making on new IT investment. He was part of the team that executed software license rationalization that has increased cost savings for the Bank in license annual subscriptions. As the 1st Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Nigeria’s Public Sector, he is also a Certified Project Manager and Solution Architect. He also has many professional certifications in Networking, Telecommunications, Service Management and Solution Design. Mr Abdullahi was a key resource in the development of IT standards for the apex bank, which has reduced mean time to deploy/integrate new system by over 20%. One of his major achievements as a Technology architect was the production of 7 Solution Architectures for critical IT initiatives that helped in achieving cashless society in Nigeria. He joined NITDA in 2017 as Technical Assistant to the Director General/CEO. Being the IT regulatory body in Nigeria mandated to implement National ICT policy, he managed execution of strategy which has increased ICT contribution to Nigerian GDP by over 13% in Q2 2018. He also coordinated Local Content initiatives that has increased ICT local production by over 200% in 2017. Mr Abdullahi is a member of both Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and the British Computer Society (BCS).
Dr. Fashina has over 30 years of experience in Technology and Financial Services Management. He joined the Ecobank Group in April 2016 as Managing Director of eProcess International and Chief Information Officer of the Group. Dr. Fashina was subsequently promoted in March 2021 to the role of Group Executive for Operations and Technology, and a member of the Ecobank Group Executive Committee while remaining as the Managing Director of eProcess. Before joining the Ecobank Group, Dr. Fashina was Chairman of Steward Bank Harare Zimbabwe, Chief Executive Officer for the social media company Yookos, and he held several positions at Barclays Bank including General Manager & Head, Transactional Banking Products and Channels Management and Director of Cash Management & Payments. Prior to this, at Citigroup South Africa, Dr. Fashina held leadership roles in Global Transaction Services as Division Head & Director for Client Delivery, Sub-Saharan Africa and Division Head, Electronic Banking & Implementation, Sub-Saharan Africa. Dr. Fashina has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Lagos and a PhD in Leadership for Business Management from Capella University, Minnesota, USA
